Forging is a method of processing metals, and the biggest advantage of this method is that it can increase the performance of the metal itself while forging. During the forging process, the internal faults and gaps of the metal billet will be removed, which actually increases the bonding degree of the metal particles inside the metal during forging, so that excess impurities in the metal can be removed during forging.



The principle of radial ring rolling is that the driving Roller is the active roller, which simultaneously performs rotational rolling motion and linear feed motion; The core roller is a passive roller that performs a passive rotational rolling motion; The guide roller and signal roller are both freely rotatable driven rollers. Under the action of the driving roller, continuous local plastic deformation is generated through the rolling hole formed by the driving roller and the core roller, resulting in a reduction in the thickness of the annular forging, an increase in diameter, and the formation of the cross-sectional hub.


When the annular forging undergoes multiple rounds of rolling deformation and the diameter expands to the predetermined size, the outer surface of the forging comes into contact with the signal roller, and the driving roller stops the linear feed motion and returns, ending the rolling process. During the rolling process, the guiding motion of the guide roller ensures the smooth rotation of the forging. In radial ring rolling, the driving roller rotates and rolls with the power provided by an electric motor, while the linear feed motion is powered by hydraulic or pneumatic devices, but moves passively with the ring under its frictional force. The radial ring rolling equipment has a simple structure and is widely used in the rolling production of small and medium-sized forgings.
